After the big freeze in 2012, Italian spindles try to resume their spinning. Despite the negative reckoning evaluated even in 2013 by Smi-Sistema Moda Italia in the exportation department,
trends improvements and most of all the resurgence of European demand give hope to a change of pace in 2014. This is the frame that portrays the 74th edition of Pitti Immagine Filati, the showcase that previews the yarns collections for knitwear for Spring-Summer 2015. The trade, which hosts 102 expositors (18 foreign ones) till friday, pretty much as many as last year edition, stands for the gauge that sets the health of a whole field: the made in Italy supply chain textile-clothing.
